MyRouteBuddy: Built to Get Delivery Drivers Home Faster
We built MyRouteBuddy for the drivers who run real routes: dozens of stops, a clock that never slows down, and no patience for software that guesses. Here is how it plans a smarter route, and why it keeps getting better.
Every delivery driver knows the feeling. You have a pile of stops, a tight timeline, and the same question at every corner: where do you go next? Get it wrong a few times and you are crossing the same neighborhood twice, burning gas and daylight.
We built MyRouteBuddy to take that question off your plate. It is an iOS app made for delivery drivers and couriers, and its job is simple: put your stops in the smartest order so you finish faster with less backtracking.
A real optimization engine, not a guess
The route optimizer is the heart of MyRouteBuddy, and it is the part we have spent the most time getting right. You drop in your stops and it works out a fast, efficient order in seconds. All the hard work of figuring out the best way to hit every stop happens for you, so you can stop guessing and start driving.
It also routes the way a driver thinks. It keeps you moving forward instead of passing a nearby stop and doubling back for it later, and it will never hand you an order that is worse than the one you already have. If it cannot beat your current route, it leaves it alone.
The result is genuinely hard to match by hand. When you have 80, 100, or 140 stops, working out the best next move in your head is close to impossible. MyRouteBuddy does it in seconds.
Built and tested on real routes
We do not test this on paper. MyRouteBuddy has been run on real routes across Ohio, including some genuinely awkward map shapes around Dayton, with stop counts from roughly 80 to 140. Those big, messy, real-world days are exactly what it is tuned for, and Pro routes handle up to 200 stops.
We also put it through its paces every day. Every time we improve something, we make sure we did not break the routes that were already working.
Get your stops in fast
Planning a route should not mean typing a hundred addresses. MyRouteBuddy lets you:
- Paste a list of stops, or import a CSV or XLSX file.
- Scan an address or a package label with your camera, which reads the text for you.
- Add stops by voice.
Once your route is set, hand it off to Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze with one tap and drive.
We listen, and we fix
MyRouteBuddy has a feedback section built right into the app. If you hit a bug, an address that will not resolve, or a route that does not look right, you can report it in a few taps and attach diagnostics if you want. It comes straight to us. We read it, we test it, and we work to solve it.
That loop is the whole point. The app gets better because real drivers tell us what real routes throw at them.
Still new, still growing
