Data Collection

You provide: Habit names, descriptions, colors; appointment titles, notes, times; reminder preferences; optional support messages.

Automatically collected: Crash logs, usage analytics (including install attribution and feature usage via Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics 4), device type, and general diagnostics used to maintain app stability and improve the app over time.

From sign-in: Google account basic profile (name, email) when you sign in with Google, or your email address when you sign in with email.

We do not collect: Precise location, health measurements, or your contact list.

How We Use AI Features

What this covers: Habit Tracker Pro uses AI to generate or refine habit titles/descriptions, suggest colors, and draft appointment details (title, summary, timing, reminders).

What we send to AI services: When you request an AI suggestion we send the text you provide and limited context (for example preferred tone or difficulty). We never send your email, password, payment data, or unrelated content.

Processing: Suggestions may be generated on our servers or by a third-party AI processor acting on our instructions. Third parties may not use your data for their own training.

Model training: We do not allow your personal data to train third-party foundation models beyond what is required to generate your request or prevent abuse.

Your choices: AI features are optional. The core habit and appointment tools work without AI. If the app offers "Send text to AI for suggestions," turning it off stops us from transmitting your text for AI processing.

Accuracy reminder: AI outputs can be imperfect, so review suggestions before saving. AI outputs are not medical advice.

Data Storage & Sync

Local Data (Always Private):

• All habit names and completion dates
• Appointment schedules, reminders, and AI suggestions you choose to save
• Personal settings and preferences
• Stored using iOS secure storage mechanisms

Cloud Data (Optional Features):

• Leaderboards: Username and completion statistics only (anonymous)
• Account Sync: When you sign in with Google (Gmail) or email, your habits and appointments sync across devices over encrypted connections.
• AI Suggestions: Text sent for AI processing is retained only long enough to return the suggestion and protect the service from misuse.

In-App Purchases

We use RevenueCat and Apple's In-App Purchase system for premium features. Apple handles all payment processing according to their privacy policy. We do not store or access your payment information.

Premium Features Include: Unlimited habits, advanced statistics, per-habit leaderboard filtering, and priority support.

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services to provide optional features:

• Firebase (Google) + Google Analytics 4: For app analytics, performance, and engagement insights (aggregated)
• Google Ads: May use aggregated analytics data to measure campaign performance and build non-identifying audience segments
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• AI processing service: Managed provider that generates habit and appointment suggestions under our instructions; it cannot use your data for its own training or advertising.

ATT (iOS only): You will see an Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt the first time you open the app on iOS. You can allow or decline tracking at any time in iOS Settings. Declining may limit personalized ads measurement, but core app features still work.

Opt-outs: You can manage tracking via iOS Settings and Google Ad Settings. No sensitive personal data (like password content, calendar text, or habit notes) is sold or shared with advertisers; analytics focuses on usage patterns and engagement.

Data Retention

Habits and appointments: Retained while your account is active and removed when you clear data, delete your account, or request deletion.

AI request logs: Minimal logs may be kept for 30–90 days for abuse prevention and debugging, then deleted or anonymized.

Diagnostics: Crash and performance data is retained only as needed to maintain app quality.

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Local Data: Use "Clear All Data" in app settings or delete the app
• Synced Data: Sign out or contact us at support@ktforge.dev to remove synced habits and appointments
• Leaderboard & AI Data: Remove your username to leave leaderboards; remove habits or appointments to delete saved AI content

Note: Anonymous leaderboard statistics and minimal AI request logs may persist for up to 30–90 days after deletion.

Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there are no special considerations for children's data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
